The BBMF Lancaster will again visit the skies of Denmark on the 5th and 6th of May 2012.

Below is the list of sites to be visited by the Lancaster and the approximate fly past times (note all times are in local Danish time). As further information comes to hand we will endeavor to post it here promptly. After the list are a series of maps, kindly prepared by a relative of crew member Carthew, showing the route of the Lancaster across Denmark.

The following map shows anticipated aircraft spotter locations for the BBMF Lancaster landing and take-off on May 5th and 6th 2012 at the Billund Airport. Please be aware that you are not allowed to park, or even stop your car south of the ‘Eastern point’, there are signs stating this. From the ‘Additional Point’ you will be able to take pictures from more or less below the Lancaster if it lands from the west. The ‘Eastern point’ has the best view. If the Lancaster starts its take off towards west it will start rolling from near this place. This information is provided courtesy Mr Søren Flensted, Billund DK.
